All AyrMesh Hubs offer similar WiFi capabilities – the actual range depends on the “client” device. The differences are in bandwidth (speed) of connection and in how far apart the Hubs can or must be.
Here is an article about the unique capabilities of the HubDuo and how it works with the other Hub.
- Most Versatile Hub
- Dual-Band (2.4 and 5.8 GHz.)
- Up to 100 Mbps
- Hubs can be as close together as a few hundred feet, as far apart as 2 miles
- Relatively small and lightweight
- Higher power consumption (~8 Watts)
- Highest-Power Hub with MIMO
- Single-band (2.4 GHz.)
- Up to 65 Mbps
- Hubs must be at least half a mile apart, as far apart as 2.5 miles
- Larger and heavier
- Higher power consumption (~8 Watts)
- Highest-Power Hub with single antenna
- Single-band (2.4 GHz.)
- Up to 35 Mbps
- Hubs must be at least half a mile apart, as far apart as 2.5 miles
- Long, but lightweight
- Low power consumption (~4 Watts)
